This is a unique half marathon in Saint Paul that provides two pure running events, a half marathon and a 5k.  Further, if you or a friend enjoy skating, it is also recognized as the 2nd largest inline skating event in the nation.  Click here.

This scenic course winds through the heart of Lake Minnetonka, starting in Wayzata and ending at a beautiful new location at Commons Park in Excelsior, MN.

Race Course Detail

1.      Staging:  Just north of Mill Street on Superior Street

2.      Start:  Where designated by USATF measurement

3.      Head West on Lake Street E

4.      Turn left onto Barry Ave S then veer right on Grove Ln E thru beach parking lot

5.      Turn left onto Ferndale Rd S

6.      Cross Shoreline Dr/Co Rd 15 and go left on Shoreline / Co Rd 15

7.      Turn right onto Orono Orchard Rd S

8.      Turn left onto Fox St

9.      Turn left onto Co Rd 84

10.  Turn right onto North Shore Drive

11.  Turn left onto Shadywood Rd/Co Rd 19

12.  Jag left at Crystal Bay Rd

13.  Follow onto Northview Rd

14.  Turn right onto Lake Rd

15.  Cross over to lake side of Co Rd 15 and turn right

16.  Turn left at Old Beach Rd

17.  Go straight on path at end of Old Beach Rd

18.  Turn left (do not cross street) onto Shadywood Rd that turns into Manitou Road

19.  Turn left onto LRT rails to trail

20.  At path on LRT trail, turn left onto George

21.  Take a quick right onto Smith

22.  Turn right onto Maple

23.  Turn left onto Courtland

24.  Turn left onto 1^st St

25.  Turn right onto Courtland

26.  Turn left onto Lake Street to finish line across from park

27.  Finish festivities in The Commons Park on the lake
